Chint Group Co., Ltd.

Through refined permission management, CHINT Group aims to build a unified yet relatively independent process management platform for the group and its subsidiaries, achieving standardized and regulated functions such as process design, process release, process display and query, and process optimization management.

Company Introduction

CHINT Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CHINT") was founded in 1984 and is a globally renowned provider of smart energy system solutions. CHINT's business spans over 140 countries and regions, with more than 50,000 employees worldwide. In 2023, the group's revenue reached 155 billion yuan, and it has been listed among China's Top 500 Enterprises for over two decades. Its subsidiary, CHINT Electric (stock code: 601877), is the first A-share listed company in China primarily engaged in low-voltage electrical appliances.

Project Background

As CHINT Group's digital transformation and process optimization project is being fully implemented across the group headquarters and various industrial companies, processes, as a core strategic asset, need to be clearly defined, effectively managed, and continuously optimized. Therefore, the company urgently needs professional process management tools to drive continuous process management, support the full lifecycle management of processes, and achieve standardized and unified functions such as process design, process release, process display and query, and process optimization management.

Through systematic process system planning, adhering to the principle of "One CHINT, One System, One Standard," the company ensures the standardization and consistency of its process construction, achieving a transition from "functional level" to "standard level" and "measurement level" in process capabilities, ultimately realizing the implementation of strategy and effective business growth.

Project Objectives

1. Through systematic organization and optimization of process scenarios and permissions, achieve end-to-end process connectivity across departments, transforming from traditional centralized and functional models to a process-oriented organization. Build an agile and user-friendly digital comprehensive capability reuse platform to quickly respond to user needs.

2. Due to the organizational and management model changes in the industrial companies, separate the shared processes with new energy, and reorganize and optimize the processes based on the existing management models and business scenarios.

Core Application Scenarios

1. Group-wide Control

CHINT Group has four subsidiaries: CHINT Electric, CHINT Electrical, CHINT ANE, and CHINT New Energy.

Following the principle of "One CHINT, One System, One Standard," without changing the existing structure, CHINT Group aims to achieve unified control of supporting processes and diverse business processes, enabling data interaction between independent systems. This will create a unified management architecture and processes for the group.

●Group Template Creation: In the group template library, templates and processes can be created, allowing for the drawing of process diagrams, maintenance of basic process attributes, and normal save and import functions. After editing, click "Approval and Release" to initiate the process release approval.

●Push After Approval: In the release approval process, using the AlphaFlow iPaas integration platform and Alphabot process robot, configure data push interfaces and trigger conditions to push group data to the subsidiaries.

●Subsidiary Reception: Subsidiaries receive the newly released architecture and process templates from the group, creating the same nodes under the corresponding nodes in the subsidiary system, indicated by icons. Users can click on the process name to receive it. Modifications to content are allowed, but not to the architecture and process diagrams.

●Attribute Inheritance: Within a 15-day buffer period, subsidiary process administrators can actively click "Receive." The system provides a comparison of the "Currently in Use" and "Newly Released" versions, allowing the current version's content to be inherited into the new template and setting the new template as the one in use.

2. Unified Process Architecture and Processes, Achieve online permission control for all processes.

3. Standardized Process Diagrams and Template, Standardize the design templates and samples for process management.

4. Achieve document standardization, unified management, categorized storage, and full lifecycle management of process documents.

Project Value

Through the AlphaFlow EBPA platform, the company has achieved unified process informatization and digitalization, centrally managing the entire lifecycle of processes. The association of system documents with processes effectively supports process operations, improving the group's operational efficiency, reducing enterprise operating costs, and enhancing the company's core competitiveness.
