Chang'an Mazda Automobile Co., Ltd.

Company Introduction

Changan Mazda was established in 2012 and is a comprehensive vehicle manufacturing company that integrates research and development, manufacturing, and sales. The company is jointly funded by Chongqing Changan Automobile Co., Ltd., Mazda Corporation, China FAW Group Co., Ltd., and Mazda (China) Management Co., Ltd. It is the only global overseas R&D center of Mazda Corporation.

Cooperation Process

On September 10, 2018, the "Changan Mazda New Business Process Management BPMA System" project was officially launched and successfully went live in just 88 days. The stable and continuous cooperation has lasted for six years.

Project Background

Based on the construction of the original Changan ANY3 workflow management platform, Changan Mazda faced the following challenges:

1. The original platform lacked openness and could not integrate with internal systems such as HR, travel e-commerce, EBS, MHDS, VQIS, etc., leading to information silos.

2. The original platform had insufficient compatibility, limiting the display terminals and preventing cross-platform and browser compatibility.

3. The original platform did not support mobile office, failing to meet the needs of cross-regional and cross-space work, despite strong demand from users at all levels.

4. The original platform could not support the growth of the company and the rapid response to changing business needs, lacking flexibility.

5. The original platform had limited extensibility, unable to meet the personalized business needs of users.

Project Objectives

The application of the EBPA project aims to achieve the following five objectives:

1. Plan, organize, and design the overall process architecture and core business processes.

2. Implement the execution of processes based on the results of the previous process planning and design.

3. Integrate with existing heterogeneous business systems through the iPaaS process integration platform, including HR systems, travel e-commerce platforms, Oracle-EBS, SRM procurement systems, VQIS, MHS, and SSO unified authentication platforms, etc.

4. Thoroughly solve the issues of high development volume and difficult integration in the original process platform.

5. Obtain different dimensional process views and process operation analysis reports for continuous optimization.

Application Scenarios

1. Personalized home page and process portal, supporting multiple system languages (Chinese, English, Japanese), one-click process initiation, providing a unified process entry and user management for all levels of the group, achieving efficient collaboration of people, data, information, and business processes.

2. Seamless integration of multiple business applications through the AlphaFuse integration platform, eliminating data silos and process islands, and integrating with EHR, VQIS, MHDS, SSO, travel e-commerce platforms, AD domain, email, and WeCom, etc. For example, using the iBPM process engine and AlphaFuse integration platform, embedded Oracle EBS/SRM forms provide financial online approval process services, including process initiation, condition judgment, data calculation, task processing, data query, and efficiency analysis.

3. Using iBPM forms and process engines, 60 forms and processes were built, including travel e-commerce platforms, Oracle EBS, HR, VQIS, and MHD systems, meeting the needs of mobile office.

4. Support for summarizing and analyzing process execution content and all data, such as individual process execution, execution efficiency, user behavior analysis, and management approval efficiency analysis. Users can filter and set report data viewing permissions and export different types of charts (pie charts, bar charts) based on process start time, end time, process status, and process components.

5. Customizable process step email reminders, custom watermarks, and meeting room reservations. For example, a new personalized CMA meeting management model provides online registration, classification of meeting resources, online reservation applications, temporary meeting cancellations, weekly meeting cyclic reservation modes, and graphical display of meeting resources (by day/week), enabling shared and visualized company resources.

Value and Achievements

1. Based on the intelligent process engine service of the iBPM platform, 13 business process segments and collaborative expansion modules have been continuously iterated and enhanced.

2. The unified integration platform enables data interaction and integration between iBPM and 12 independent systems, including Oracle-EBS, SRM, HR, travel e-commerce platforms, CPS, and more, serving as the "highway" for CMA's information and data.

3. Unrestricted by time and space, mobile office can be conducted anytime and anywhere.

4. Powerful underlying customization capabilities, efficient and quick system maintenance, three language versions to meet multi-scenario office needs, easy operation, and clear tracking of business processes.

5. Automated data analysis, 8 operational analysis reports, multi-dimensional precise data extraction for automatic analysis (including Any3 workflow data).
