CRRC Dalian Company Selects AlphaFlow for Full-Process Platform

The full-process management project of CRRC Dalian Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "CRRC Dalian Company") has officially been launched! CRRC Dalian Company will introduce the Microhong AlphaFlow full-process platform to build a unified and intelligent new-generation full lifecycle process digitalization platform.

A Century of Excellence, Cradle of Locomotives

CRRC Dalian Locomotive & Rolling Stock Co., Ltd. was founded in 1899 and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CRRC Corporation Limited. It is the only key large-scale enterprise in China's rail transit industry capable of independently researching, developing, and exporting diesel locomotives, electric locomotives, engines, and urban rail vehicles in bulk. Following the breakthrough of exporting locomotives to Myanmar in 1993, CRRC Dalian has since exported its products to 27 countries and regions, including South Africa, New Zealand, Argentina, Uzbekistan, India, Nigeria, and Hong Kong.

Building an Excellent Process Digitalization Platform

The advancement of the full-process platform project is based on CRRC Group's digital transformation strategy, which adheres to the principles of "top-level planning, integrated control, focusing on key areas, and coordinated development." CRRC Dalian Company aims to achieve "standardization, lean management, digitalization, networking, and intelligence" by building an enterprise digital process platform that integrates value chain operations. This will include a multi-certification system that combines lean research and development, lean management, lean manufacturing, lean customer service, and lean supply chain, creating a highly efficient and collaborative process-oriented organization.

Focus on Unified Data and Processes

CRRC Dalaran Company will use the AlphaFlow BPA process management and automation platform to establish a unified process execution, automation, and integration platform. By combining comprehensive mobility, the company will deepen the integration of business systems through vertical compression and horizontal integration. This will create end-to-end process control, linking processes and data between existing independent business systems such as SAP, PLM, SRM, and expense control systems. The goal is to cover the operation and monitoring of end-to-end processes across all business lines, thereby significantly enhancing the efficiency of process management.

Building a Process System and Accumulating Process Assets

CRRC Dalian Company will use the Microhong AlphaFlow EBPA process planning and design platform to comprehensively review pilot processes. These processes will be integrated with management elements such as regulations, rules, performance, risk, positions, permissions, IT systems, and data, implementing top-level architecture management elements. This will achieve visual, standardized, and model-based management of the process management system.

Leveraging Process Analysis and Visualization

Finally, by leveraging the process analysis, mining, and visualization capabilities of the AlphaFlow BPI process analysis and mining platform, CRRC Dalian Company will integrate the management of process node monitoring, process data collection, data mining and discovery, process consistency checks, efficiency visualization, and process dashboards. This will help the company identify business bottlenecks and inefficiencies, leverage the effectiveness of accumulated process data, support business decision-making with data, enhance process transparency, and continuously optimize business processes.
